Cooking up a Storm

Participants design and prepare a three-course meal within a limited time from a range of ingredients and recipes.

After reviewing the food items available, the group decides on a menu for the day's main meal, before dividing into smaller teams, each of which is responsible for preparing a course, menus, decorations or the dining area for the meal. The teams have a set time in which to prepare their menus based on the available ingredients and their colleagues' likes and dislikes, before they head to the kitchen area to prepare the meal. At the end of the day, points are awarded for presentation, originality, taste and punctuality.

Activities Include:
Food preparation and cooking, menu design, decoration, evening entertainment, judging other teams' meals.
Can be combined with a range of team tasks and challenges to win specific ingredients.

While this activity will produce great benefit on its own, we recommend a facilitator to achieve best results.

We understand that when a team has fun, it becomes more effective and relationships grow stronger. Fresh Tracks bridge the gap between traditional classroom based team training and more physical outdoor team building experiences.
