What
constitutes an inspirational leader?
Well,
the Oxford English Dictionary defines one as: "a guiding or directing
head, as of an army, movement, or political group", however, we passionately
believe that a leader can exist, motivate and shine in any profession
or situation. You could be the team leader who has encouraged your team
to exceed all expectations, the CEO of a company who has refused to break
under the pressure of the recession; a brave paramedic who not only contributed
to saving a life, but displayed leadership qualities under intense pressure;
or a teacher in a school who has continuously motivated both your students
and colleagues against adversity. Whatever the example, we have the perfect
opportunity to highlight and commend this leadership.
Fresh Tracks are giving one lucky leader and their team the opportunity
to take part in one of our exciting and bespoke team building days anywhere
in the UK, with one aim in mind: to bring your team together for
free!
In
order to nominate your inspirational
leader for our special award, we want you to send us a video (anything
up to 5 minutes and don't worry about the quality of the film, it's the
content that's important) of them delivering one of their legendary team
talks. Your entry should be supported by an email explaining why and how
your leader has been inspirational this year. Click
here to find out more or to view other entrants into the competition.
Event
Focus: Quad Bike Team Tasks
This
unusual, fun session of team
building on quad bikes combines a variety of tasks that develop, motivate
and strengthen teams and individuals, whilst participants explore the
countryside on quad bikes. Team quad biking is a great way to energise
the group after a morning's meeting!
Our
team quad biking
session starts with a practice on a coned circuit before the group sets
off on their bikes in convoy around the grounds, undertaking different
team challenges en route. The group quad biking itinerary can be run as
a competitive exercise, or simply as a fun session. Teams or individuals
may have to cross an Ice Field, negotiate a Spider's Web or solve the
Pyramid Challenge before they head back to base.
