The Enigma Code

The aim of this exercise is to combine a wide variety of tasks that develop and strengthen teams and individuals to achieve a common goal within a tight time scale. The group is tasked with the job of tracking down the Eingma Code - a secret left buried many years ago. All the equipment needed has been dropped by parachute within the operational area - some equipment will require familiarisation.

A range of tasks, problems and mental challenges need to be solved throughout the day as the team works to put together the pieces of information required for them to decipher the code.

Activities include :
Locating the clues and equipment using GPS navigation equipment
Transportation over a variety of surfaces using quad bikes and off-road vehicles
Transportation over a minefield
Filming a 10 minute report of the operation
Communicating effectively using 2 way radios

A Team Leader is elected by the group. He/she can then assign participants to various roles with a view to completing the mission before the deadline!

This is a demanding exercise which is guaranteed to highlight both strengths and qualities in all team members.
While this activity will produce great benefit on its own, we recommend a facilitator to achieve best results.

We understand that when a team has fun, it becomes more effective and relationships grow stronger. Fresh Tracks bridge the gap between traditional classroom based team training and more physical outdoor team building experiences.
