Team Building Activities that Focus on Trust

However we understand many people simply want free team building games that they can run at work themselves. In response to this we have compiled a database of free team building activities all of which have been tried and tested. Most of these free team building ideas have been developed by Fresh Tracks and can be easily run by almost anyone in an office.

Title: Blindfold Square

Participants: 12 - 50
Timing: 30 - 60 mins
Overview: A short exercise that forces small teams to communicate when they can’t see one another or their progress as they work to achieve a specific goal.

Title: Blind Wine Waiter

Participants: 6- 60
Timing: 30 mins
Overview: Teams work together, with the hinderance of blindfolds on some, to serve the wine within a set time.

Title: Circle of Questions

Participants: 6 - 60
Timing: 15 - 30 mins
Overview: An introductory activity that gets participants listening to one another and in doing so, finding out about each other’s values as they ask a series of questions around concentric circles.

Title: Frost Bite

Participants: 6 - 30
Timing: 45 - 60 mins
Overview: A scenario-based challenge which requires teams (who in this scenario are Arctic explorers caught in bad weather) to work together to overcome a range of physical constraints and acheive their goal.

Title: My Dream Trip

Participants: 6 - 50
Timing: 15 - 30 mins
Overview: A light-hearted introductory activity, which encourages participants to find out a bit more about their work colleagues. Dream Trips can be shared among teams/paris or with the group as a whole.
