Wine Tasting

In the Quaffer Experience, we entertain and educate teams through a light-hearted and mildly competitive series of wine based challenges. Groups are separated into teams of five to complete each challenge:

Wine Quiz - a light-hearted introduction to the wonderful world of wine facts and figures.
Principles of Wine-Tasting - introduction by wine expert in how to taste and what to look for in wine.
Blind Wine Tasting - Discerning red and white wine on taste alone before graduating onto matching wines to tasting notes using all senses.
Blending and Branding Exercise - mix a selection of wines to create a new brand that should be named, priced etc.
Matching Wines to Menus - participants are given a selection of menus and wines. Using the knowledge gained earlier in the day, each team has to select the correct wine for the correct menu.

Duration: Late afternoon/evening
Location: Hotels and selected private collections
Dress: Casual
Investment: £1200 + VAT for 12 participants; £95 + VAT per additional participant
