Messing about on the River

In this activity we aim to build relationships in a relaxed environment away from the fast pace of office life.

On board, we work in small teams of three or four (where the group is larger than 12 people, participants will be split across two or more vessels) on a range of navigational, mental and fun exercises. Teams can also compete competitively against each other, with prizes for the winning team.

Activities include:
Navigating locks
Boat handling
Refurbishment of narrow boat
Commentary on surrounding area
Cooking and serving meals with limited resources
Photographing, writing and producing a tourist guide on board

Alternatively narrow boats make a comfortable and inspiring conference venue.

While this activity will produce great benefit on its own, we recommend a facilitator to achieve best results.

We understand that when a team has fun, it becomes more effective and relationships grow stronger. Fresh Tracks bridge the gap between traditional classroom based team training and more physical outdoor team building experiences.
