In this model making team activity participants assemble and decorate the fastest (stand back - these cars can reach up to 100mph!), most creative or otherwise outstanding model rocket car from the range of kit and equipment provided.

The group is divided into teams of approximately five. Teams are given briefing sheets outlining the kit and equipment available, details of costs and how they can win funds. They then have a planning period during which they can check resources and decide on their rocket car strategy. A building period follows before the rocket engines are fitted and put to the test in the first race. The criteria for winning include beauty as well as speed, with prizes to the winning team.

Team rocket making activities include:

- Design the rocket car
- Planning and assembly
- Developing a theme or team brand for your team and your teams's car (flags and clothing etc)
- Racing the rocket cars

While this model making team activity will produce great benefit on its own, we recommend a facilitator to achieve best results.

Team rocket making programme details

Duration: Half Day
Location: Venues, client offices or hotels with adequate outdoor racing space (approx 33m/100ft long). This can be indoor or outdoor.
Dress: Casual.
Investment: £1620 + VAT for 12 participants; £135 + VAT per additional participant
