A little while ago we received an unexpected email, from NASA! As you’d expect our first thought was to delete it, assuming it was spam. Surprisingly it was genuine.
A leader within the Flight Dynamics and Exploration Team had accessed our Free Team Building Activities and noticed an error. With characteristic thoroughness of someone who sends people into space, he kindly sent an annotated screenshot of the web page. Of course, we set to work to put this right immediately and sent him some additional Team Building Exercises aligned to Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
In a world in which we seem to be constantly asked to review services, it is a rare individual who takes the trouble to volunteer feedback. When that person does so in a considerate and constructive manner it can make a significant difference. Why then is our first response to suspect the worst?
“Is this person trying to scam us, seek compensation or gloat?”
Like our new friend from NASA there are people who simply like to see things done well, they know that their unbiased perspective can make an appreciable difference.
