The Team Machine

A high energy, large scale team event requiring participants to co-operate with other teams to achieve a common goal. The Team Machine demonstrates the hidden value of co-operation and the danger of unecessary rivalry between teams that serve the same organisation.

Each team is given a set of tools and building materials to create their own working mechanism. The plans are muddled requiring sharing of data before building can commence. The group then set to work on their devices ranging from a model launch device, to a helter-skelter. Components must be assembled in just the right way for the individual mechanisms to work. Later the teams must work together to find the correct sequence of mechanisms, so that, once launched each element will trigger the next in a chain reaction building to an explosive finale!

Team event includes:

Building free-standing mechanisms, some up to 6ft high; collaboration and negotiation between teams; assembly of complete Team Machine sequence and launch of the final mechanism.

While this team building event will produce great benefit on its own, we recommend a facilitator to achieve best results.

Programme details

Duration: 90 mins to Full Day
Location: Hotels, conference centres or client's own premises. Indoor or outdoor.
Dress: Casual wear
Investment: £1620 + VAT for a group of up to 12 participants; £125 per additional participant. POA for large groups.
Facilitation: If required, facilitation is charged at between £1050 + VAT and £1900 + VAT. For more information click here.
