Near, yet Far from the Crowd
A direct train service from London Liverpool Street, in the heart of the City reaches us in 36 minutes. From Cambridge it’s a shade quicker. Once at the train station we can shuttle you to our door within minutes, in style.
By air London Stansted, London City and London Luton are all less than an hour away or fly right in by helicopter.
If you drive yourself, then we have space for over 50 cars and a complimentary high speed EV charge point.
The Story
The locals say that Henry VIII used to visit the farmhouse here on route home from hunting. There’s no doubt that this place has some history, having been built from reclaimed oak and elm timbers in the 1600s. Much of the hard wood structure of the building is now over 1000 years old!
More recently we’ve breathed new life into the old barn, replacing hay racks with wine racks and swapping calf pens for sumptuous beds. Underfloor heating and comfy seating ensure the perfect environment to work, rest or play.
Downstairs is open plan, providing space to comfortably seat 60 at tables. Upstairs two en suite bedrooms are available for VIP guests with additional accommodation available both on site and nearby. There’s even a secret cinema hidden high up in the eaves, to really ‘break out’ we’d encourage you to explore the acres of surrounding countryside.
